Article

I’m having Darren from Landingpagestar.com make the landing page for the test offer. I’ve chosen to use Market Leverage from that offer as my original one was pull as you know. In the mean time, I’ve decided to do some free article marketing and see if the money there is worth it.

I’ll be testing 2 things with the article marketing. It’s power in generating back links and it’s power in generating sales by utilizing clickbank.

I will be submitting to every directory I can find, including the famous Ezine Articles. I’m going for niche terms where I can get my article ranked for the terms. I will be then spinning the content myself and make small changes and posting it again for other related terms so I can grab the whole niche.

Stay tuned! The final complete open report will be turned into a free ebook and sent to all my email subscribers.

Down arrowMy test offer in the Colour for converions post was pulled recently, and my network sent an email but Microsoft outlook 2007 marked it as junk and cleared it. I never knew until now that it’s been pulled. So I’ve got to find a new campaign to promote. This time I won’t be testing direct clicking.

My previous campaign was direct linked while the landing pages were made, and to be honest it didn’t convert once. Was a lesson learnt the hardway with 50c clicks.

After learning this lesson, I added every network’s domain to my whitelist in the format of “@domain.com” so every email gets through. I think if you haven’t already, you should start now. Why learn from your own mistakes if you can learn from others? Stay tuned for the test with the new campaign however.

ad groupsHaving tight well made and well thought out ad groups is another way you can save on a campaign. For those of you who use Keyword elite and software like this, it will be hard to group 1000s of keywords into groups of 50. However, the benefits will be great!

So your probably thinking, how is it done and how can I save, right? Well you want to group all the keywords into relevent groups. So heres a list of 10 keywords which should be put into 2 groups of 5:Visa Cards, Visa Debit, Visa prepaid, Visa premium, Visa lost, Master card, Master card euro, Master card stolen, Master card cost, Master card credit. As you can see it’s obvious that there are two Clear visible groups here. Master card and Visa. Along with these you want to make several ad variations and make sure the ads are all relevent to the group. For example: (more…)

Well while browsing the internet, I came accross this post by Zac Johnson, so all credit should go to him on the find. However, I think the importance of this find needs to be shared!

Well as you can see, certain colours can invoke certain emotions to people. How can this help your probably thinking? Well imagine if your selling green herbal tea, and you want to invoke trust from your visitor. Then you would use the light green colour, which should make them trust the page more.

I’m not sure if this is real, or if it even works - but I’m gonna test it! I’ve found a campaign with a sweet $20 payout per lead, and I’m going to test 3 things:

1) Direct Linking
2) Normal Landing page
3) Color Landing page

And then I will report back with all the nitty gritty stuff. I’m predicting that the Color landing page will deliver best, but in this industry - you never know! I’m going to be using Yahoo and MSN AdCentre as I was recently banned from Google AdWords (pending investigation) which I will post about soon. I’ve actually grew quiet fond of these two other networks and can see my self sending a lot of volume there way!

Image hosting promotion

Well after the free review promotion I got, the traffic is still coming in. It’s not as high as it used to be, and it’s still dropping but the traffic is still there. Keep in mind, todya is Saturday, so the day has not been complete yet.

It’s nothing major, but it shows how some good promotion can have long lasting effects. I don’t really promote my image hosting site, but I use it a lot my self for almost any image I post. Hopefully, it will soon build up gradually.

Well with the option to use AdEngage and only pay 0.08c for a click in the united states for english speaking users, I thought it would be great. AdEngage from a publishers side seemed good, so I thought I’d give their advertising platform a go.

So I decided to (more…)

Well today I was going through a campaign and hovered over a  ? and noticed that Google have live support using Live person! What they cover, I don’t know because it doesn’t say. But I’m assuming they’re the equivalent of the phone reps, or they are the phone reps.

To get to them, you need to (more…)

Well a lot of people assume that a campaign that just breaks even or looses $1-2 is bad or a failure and decides to kill it. Well that is a bad idea! If you read my previous post on credit cards or debit cards you’ll understand where this is going.

If you have a campaign, spending $1000 a month on PPC and making back $1000 with Copeac lets say, then your still profiting. 5% cash back would give you $50 (now making profit) and that would also give you 1000 airmiles which can come in handy. Those miles can give you a nice free EXPENSIVE break with free flight upgrades and hotel upgrades depending on your flight. Plus you use the cash back as holiday money.

Even if your loosing money, it’s really worth keeping the campaign going and seeing if you can revive it some how. If your loosing $10-20, your still gaining a lot more through rewards on your card. It really is worth paying for those premium cards too. For that $100-200 a year you really pay it off from the rewards.

Tomorrow I will be going to my bank for a background check before I get my new cards. I’ll keep you updated ;).
